Croydon Military Community is a 100% voluntary group that works to bring the Armed Forces Community in and around the London Borough of Croydon together for mutual support.
We also aim to educate people and organisations living and operating in the borough about the Armed Forces Community including the NHS in Croydon and Croydon Council.
We do not offer services that are already provided by other Armed Forces Charities but instead we signpost those services and support those charities with volunteers for specific events where possible. For example we do not make grants but we will, where we have the resources, help members of our community with practical support.
The majority of our trustees are members of the Armed Forces Community. You can read our trustee profiles.
We organise and/or publicise social and wellbeing activities for the Armed Forces Community every month across the borough.
The costs of running this site are borne by the founders of the site, although we may accept sponsorships to offset these costs in the future. We are applying for Charitable status.
